Personal favorite and most affordable KBBQ place I know of in the Philly area. Loved the banchan and chicken dishes. They even gave us a tofu soup which I wasn't expecting! We ate downstairs, and the ambiance feels like your in your grandmother's home. Very cozy and simple.

You know the food of a certain ethnicity is going to be great when you see groups of old people of the same ethnicity, all speaking the native language, eating at a place. This was no exception. The food was amazing and plentiful for how moderate the price was. And the service was very friendly.

If you want to find some real authentic Korean om noms with a staff that is patient and will answer your questions, I strongly recommend here. They were incredibly friendly and our server he was honest in his recommendations. The food was absolutely delicious. They had some kpop music playing upstairs in a Bluetooth speaker that faintly made its way downstairs. But it's clearly a place meant to chat over food and drinks with your family. They did appear to have a neat party room and they do Korean BBQ. So the wife and I intend to return to have that on an evening with friends sometime hopefully soon.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Korean BBQ at this down to earth neighborhood restaurant. All the sides were flavorful, fresh and delicious, and the service was friendly. I will definitely be back.

This place is an unpretentious, wholesome, and authentic Korean bbq restaurant. Portions are generous, price is good, and everything is delicious. It's hard to find a korean bbq where the meat, jjigae, and banchan are all good. Even the egg soufflé was perfectly seasoned and very flavorful. They have the biggest griddle on the table I've ever seen. Kimchee fried rice at the end on the griddle was just a cherry on top. Highly recommend this little gem.

I visited here with a couple of friends at Philly. Although the location is little bit away from the main H-mart area, you can easily find the location as it follows along the K-town in Cheltenham street. As you enter through the restaurant, you may get an impression that place is small, but that is not the case as there are plenty of seating areas as well as there is one more floor downstair. I've been to quite a few Korean restaurants around this area, and this place is one of the best yet as it has three components that all deserve 5 stars: (1) many variety of foods, (2) a great service, and (3) great foods. You can find almost any traditional Korea food that you can wish for, including a peculiar one like pufferfish pancake. Or, you can find any typical Korean food like soon doo bu (spicy Korean soup with soft tofu and other ingredients) and bibimbap (Korean style mixed rice with vegetables). But you can also get the Korean grilled BBQ like the one I dined in called Chicken Kalbi, which is essentially a Korean BBQ but made out of chicken with spicy paste sauce. Chicken Kalbi was just spicy enough, and it is a beauty to see it getting stirred with rice cake, yum, and other veggies. Topping that on the top of your rice and gulping down that through your mouth, you can taste the delicious chicken that happily flies inside your stomach. The service was excellent as well. Korean cuisines are famous for multiple side dishes accompanying a single order. And this place was no exception. About 8 different side dishes came together with our order of Chicken Kalbi, and the server gave another few foods to try out. I will definitely visit this place again, you should, too. Be sure to checkout my other reviews as I travel around the different parts of United States's cities to review the restaurants, cafes, etc. Thank you for reading.

AWESOME BBQ! The food here gets better and better! This place has been around forever (with couple owner changes) But everytime I come to this place, the food tastes better than before! I came here with my husband and his friends and realized that they got new table! now the table has HUGE grill inside the table. While practical, if you sit on the middle or the end, there is no room for you to put that much of stuff. My husband got yuk gal tang (spicy beef soup) and he had very little room to put his rice and his pot down. BUT the soup was FILLED with beef. I really hate when I go to Korean restaurant and they skip out on like 80% of the meat and I end up getting bones and more bones and A LOT OF POTATOES. but not here! they're very generous with their portion and the food taste really good too!! After everyone ordered one soup for themselves, we got a dak gal bi (marinated chicken) and it is sooo good! Always ask them to mix the rice on to the chicken at the end after your almost done eating the chicken!! My only complaint is the parking. since it's in the shopping mall, the parking lot is always so full so sometimes you have to kind of park far away from the restaurant but other than that, come try this place for some GREAT korean bbq and soup!!!
